Enough with the drawings, stitchings, t-shirts, etc. of modern furniture already! I love a lot of the classic furniture designs and by putting them on everything it just cheapens them and brings them from something special and unique to have in your home to something overused!

Oh, I don't know. I think this is a neat way to own a piece of great design when you can't afford the real thing. And the contrast of the modern design with the old-fashioned cross-stitch? Very cool.

I don't think you're looking for crossstitch in the right places; there are TONS of patterns and pieces out there now that subvert the stereotype of which you might be thinking.

Well, embroidery and cross stitch have become cool again. There aren't just a few people offering cool designs though. Ther's lots out there. I kinda like Jenny Hart myself

I've been seeing these Eames chairs so much, I'm starting to get sick of them. Which, in terms of my pocketbook, is probably a good thing.

I do like the modern twist on cross stitch.
