A very pleasant and attractive home. The kitchen with its open shelving and marble countertops is really special.

Is it just me, or are some of these rooms overdoing it a bit with "things." He could get rid of half the doo-dads in the living room and the room would seem more cohesive and dramatic.

i would have flip flopped the upper cabinets in the kitchen, thus both hiding the pipe and saving all those dishes from layers of constant cooking grease due to the lack of a vent. ugh gross. other then that, lovely apt.

Does anymore know where i could a long curtain rod like the one in the livingroom? i currently have a studio in the west village with three windows next to each other that total 145 inches and i've had a very difficult time finding a rod to fit that length. Any ideas for a modern rod that is 145 inches?

Two things:
1. I'm guessing (based on the looks of things) that the cabinets are deeper than the shelves. Switching them would have probably made the sink etc quite difficult to use.
2. There's a window right next to the stove. One would think that opening that would provide better ventilation than turning on a fan.
