Leather Suite Bathroom Fixtures by Neo-Metro

03.09.neo1.jpg

We think people will either love or hate this collection. It's the Leather Suite by Neo-Metro, a collection of leather-accented toilets, vanities, and lavatory vessels...

03.09.neo2.jpg

The Leather Suite starts with Neo-Metro's signature stainless steel material then adds water resistant leather to the mix. The leather's available in what you'd expect from leather: oxblood, black, taupe, beige, and earth. The price, we guess, is what one would expect, too: high! The toilet starts alone starts at $4,000.

I hope those look better in person because from the photos first photo doesn't look like leather it looks like MDF inserts.

The stainless steel reminds me of airline toilets. Yech.

Yep, I'm one of the haters.

(insert sarcastic tone -->) Sure, lemme buy a cow's stretched belly and back hide so I can fancy up where I do my unmentioning.

Could toilet fixtures BE any more vulgar?

I'm not objecting to the stainless steel, it's the leather detailing that I find revolting.

I'm with the commentors above, 'ugh' there are so many more attractive (including manly) options that are cheaper, more luxurious, more eco friendly and more affordable.

I guess if you can afford $4K for a toilet, you won't be the one cleaning it. Urg.

When I think of the rich people in the world that actually buy things like this it makes me sick a little. I can't imagine they actually buy it because they like it, but rather, because it costs that much and they CAN buy it. World, I promise if I ever become rich and famous, I will not spend money on ridiculous extravagances like this. I PROMISE!

These are very attractive but I would prefer wood over the leather.

Ew. I know it is water-resistant, but it would still end up with unsightly splatters all over. Ew ew ew.

For something so expensive, and made out of really expensive materials, it just looks cheap. It's like a visceral reaction.

O, I get it now. It's not just that the stainless steel looks like an airplane bathroom, because I've seen stainless steel bathroom fixtures I like. It's the combination of the steel, the squared-off shape and that shade of brown leather which evokes the ugly leather seats on older Southwest Airlines interiors. The black/steel combination doesn't bother me quite so much. Does anyone else see it?

"The Leather Suite starts with Neo-Metro's signature stainless steel material then adds water resistant leather to the mix."

Water-Resistant doesn't mean Water-Proof - This stuff will soak up stains and nasty bathroom smells in no time, then the taste-challenged owners will have it ripped out (more future-landfill) and replaced with something else in a few years time.

Hopefully the stainless steel commode will remind them of their time in DUI lock-up and turn them off before writing the check...
