do you guys think gray and chocolate brown clash?

i've recently grown to love gray tones, but have a chocolate brown sofa and loveseat- would bringing in gray look weird?

You have my vote for mixing gray and brown. I love the combination!

It depends on what shade of gray you are going to use. I think you could probably stick to the lighter shades and not have a problem. Think like a pale blue-gray. Charcoal gray on the other hand might be hard to pull off.
