We forgot how much we love the pure, crisp, cleanliness of all-white bedding. The switch-back helped us to sleep perfectly last night. See previous posts here at AT on white sheets and keeping them clean.
hmmm....slow news day?

I have all white sheets and white duvet. I like the clean look and it makes it really easy to change with pillows and a blanket at the end of the bed. I change my mind so often that the white backdrop makes it an affordable way to deal with my habit. :)

I'm thinking too it's a slow news day. I've noticed today the posts seem quite weak and few in number. Maybe the whole AT staff is still on Presidents' Day break?

I alternate between sets of white and baby blue sheets - and I wash them in detergent that's vanilla/lavender scented.
It's much easier to keep them clean when you change them frequently.

I love love love white sheets and white towels. I think it has more of a natural, clean and classic look. White goes with everything also! On Sunday, I bought a new Dwell duvet/sham set. It has a great pattern on it and the white sheets make it pop even more.
Any suggestions on how to keep white sheets white? Some say bleach but I am against using bleach as I hate the smell and the container :)

Me too. I just got rid (charity) of most of my pattern/color sheets. I crave simplicity.

Try bluing to keep whites looking white. Check your grocery store or the Mrs Stewart's Bluing website for availability. You only need a little.
I have cream sheets. I have lots of cream in my house.

White sheets are v. practical also. A friend last year brought back bed bugs to her home after renting a (nice!) vacation cabin. Lucky she spotted them almost immediately after returning because they were little red squished blobs on the her pristine white sheets.
Amazingly by catching it so early the damage/loss was minimized. The bedroom was quaranteened off foe 6 weeks, but the rest of the apartment was usable (and she didnt lose too much stuff). she wont use anything else now!

335ktt: use BIZ to keep your white sheets white. i add a scoop to every load of sheets and towels i do and i can totally tell the difference, especially with my whites!
its also great for stains-- soak the stained item in BIZ overnight and then wash it in the morning. thats what my mama taught me :)
