The Wave Pillow

2-21-pillow.jpgCan we just call it a vibrator?

Apparently not. The Wave Pillow, an invention by Australian Elmar Trefz, is a standard cushion with a 240-volt motor that is wired to the serial port of your computer, where it reads the wave action from your local wave buoy website.

Meant to allow surfers to get more sleep and not rouse them from bed unless the surf is really good, we can see this going over big here in NYC where our denizens will most likely hook it up to many other data streams.

Available soon for @ $100. Info at www.wavepillow.com or www.makingthings.com. (Via IDMag)
