The cold weather means staying under the covers a few hours longer and what better place to do that than a bohemian style bedroom?

The great thing about boho style is that it’s so forgiving. It's all about great finds and personal touches. Just keep it loose, colorful, comfortable and casual. Play with various patterns and textures. Then throw in something chic to pull it all together.
How do you keep a boho bedroom from becoming a oh-no bedroom?

Does bohemian automatically mean feminine? The last bedroom is the least feminine of the 5, but I wouldn't exactly call it masculine, either.
The first room is my fave. I'm not sure why. The colors and styles/patterns of the bedspread and chandelier versus those of the wall paper, furniture, and lamps should clash, but it totally works for me.

Boho is more girly hippie. The last one is sort of more italian countryside.

The fourth one looks like french country....

how exactly would you define bohemian style?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a lovely bedspread like the one shown in #5? I love the deep, muted colors...

The fourth looks shabby chic to me.

Lol, labels... Seriously, it makes me automatically think of important people at vernissages, importantly sipping warm white wine. Just do whatever as long as it makes your heart sing!

Anyone have details on the bedding in Photo 1? I adore it!

i think there's a difference btw bohemian and boho. as a lifestyle, bohemianism is not gender specific. boho is a mod spin/trend. that you can call feminine. it seems like there's authentic bohemian from the early part of the 20th century, then there's the '60/'70s hippie re-interpretation, and then the modern retro-upgrade of the either of those periods.
these photos are more eclectic than bohemian. there are certainly books on the bohemian decor style.
#1 seems sort of eclectic
#2 seems contemporary for the country it represents (bali? thailand?)
#3 seems traditional, with exotic patterns
#4 seems a little more bohemian with all that frilly crocheted lace
#5 seems casual country despite the age of the structure and the artwork - there's nothing really defiant or uncaring about the decor

OMG, I too, am in total love with the duvet and shams from pic 1. So lovely. Where is that from?

None of these look very boho-chic to me.
None of them have the mish-mash of multicultural elements, textures and fabrics that characterizes the look.
Peruse the pages of Elle Deco UK and Living Etc. to get a good sense of the look, but you'd have to go back a few years -- maybe circa 2003 -- which is why you are having a hard time coming up with images to illustrate the concept.

I don't know where any of the wedding comes from but I know where you can create your own bedding. I did it last year and I am still thrilled with the duvet that I made. They have some beautiful preset patterns that you can choose your own colors for. They also have their own bedding line that some of you may enjoy. Check it out: http://www.inmod.com/modern-bedding.html

I am trying really hard to find the bedding in #1. It looks very Missoni-esque to me.
Here is one that is sort of similar: http://www.stylehive.com/bookmark/macys-bed-bath-missoni-home-collection-hugh-bedding-76316
That's the best I can do for now!
