The W Residence at 123 Washington Street features already-furnished apartments by interior design group Graft, of Berlin, Germany. The bedrooms are hotel-like, with convenient in-suite desk space for work in the bedroom. We'd have a tough time buying into a pre-furnished apartment ourselves, but we do like all that hidden, built-in storage in the bedroom.
Typically I would agree, the concept of furnished apartment seems wrong. But we are talking the W Hotels. They typically do pretty well by me. I like the whole "feeling like a hotel" thing. Who knows, maybe it would get old after a while. But then again...

I just looked a the W Hotel condo offering in Austin, Texas and this looks like a much better deal. There were no furnished or fully-designed units included. For an entry-level price of $375,000 (ranging to over $675,000 if you want a balcony) you couldn't even specify wall paint other than white - and the place isn't even built yet!!
