"Understated luxury" coupled with "clean, modern... and traditional" are the mouthful of words used to describe this SoHo fixture, which continues to set the standard for downtown chic. Indeed, owner, Thomas O'Brien, has a unique eye for mixing mid-century modern with antiques from around the world, while keeping everything light and soft.
O'Brien recently did Giorgio Armani's apartment so don't expect plebian prices. The new store on Broome Street is a perfect showcase for O'Brien's mix of furniture and small accessories. See also O'Brien's designs for Waterworks (around the corner).
