We were simply checking out this cool material called Shimmer Screen. But we didn't expect to see this use of the material, which could be done by anyone in their home. Even though it's not Bedroom Month, we still wanted to share...

The Hide and Peek Bed is surrounded on all sides with a curtain of Shimmer Screen. The material is more often used in large retail and commercial projects, but we loved seeing it on a small home project like this. Perfect for adding a little glam privacy to your bed.

It looks cool, but somehow I just have the feeling this would be noisy! I am imagining that every time you turn over in bed your bedding would hit the curtain and you'd hear the "shimmer."

I don't hate it. Which is really saying a lot, considering I associate beaded curtains with the creepy: "I live in my parent's basement" crowd.
