Where do you go for GREAT BARGAINS? What's your SECRET SOURCE for decorating? We're thinking not so much about furniture, but about the small things around the house. We all know about IKEA, but are there other great shops you can share?
Sample/warehouse sales - Time Out NY has a good weekly listing, as does this site.
Century 21 - very uneven, but you're very like to find something like good sheets there. Very cute Kate Spade sets there right now, white with a accent colors approximating AT's banner blue and green.

Target
Filenes
and also:
Pearl River
Props for Today
Salvation Army (W. 46th)

I second Anne's nomination of some of the big chain stores esp West Elm, TJ Maxx, Target, Pearl River
Flea markets are great but I am often in more of a time crunch and find Ebay a wonderful source as you can shop any hour of the day. I do find myself at estate sales and those can also be good resources.
