Best Products: Russell Hobbs Cordless Kettle

2004_10_22_russell.gifA good English kettle. A reader wrote in looking for a kettle for her kitchen. Best kettle that we've ever had is the Russell Hobbs traditional cordless kettle. Heavy, attractive, heats up quick, always works. Don't trust Americans in this category. Go with the Brits.

Holds 54 ounces, made of stainless steel with a 360 degree "swivel base" and an anti scaling thing that keeps it clean.

Available all over the place but we found it for $24 on eBay, for $99 at JL Hufford, and for $79 at CookingAppliances.com. MGR

I've had a Russell Hobbs electric kettle that my aussie nan bought for me while I was still in college (12 years ago now!). It's still going strong and I've never needed to scale it. I thought it was expensive at the time ($75), but it still looks great and works so well I think it was worth the expense.

we have been using the 'Cuisinart Cordless Electric Tea Kettle' for a few years, and I would have to say, even for Americans, this is a great kettle. Epinions rates it at 5 stars, and has the lowest price found at $54.00. I think we paid $65.00.

I had a Russell Hobbs kettle bought for me as a wedding present and it lasted for over 26 years had to just change the fuse once it was brilliant just a normal kettle stainless steal it was. When i moved to my new home i bought a new kettle it was a morphey Richards kettle and it has now been put in the bin as i had this kettle for only 1.5 yers and it leeked. I have just bought a new cordless Russell Hobs kettle and hope that it lasts well.
