Cold-Storage Warehouse Turned Tribeca Home
New York Magazine 6.1.08

Wendy Goodman of New York Magazine has found another amazing home. Architect Diana Kellogg transformed a cold-storage warehouse in Tribeca into a home for her family. By using salvaged materials (including plenty of wood) and honoring the history of the building, she was able to retain its industrial aesthetic in a modern, livable way...

Wow! The basement has plenty of room for the children to play. For captions to the numbers in the photos and additonal photos, see New York Magazine's feature,
Warmer When Occupied.

Tell me about it sleek. It is called Staple Street. Hidden away just off Harrison and Jay Street in Tribeca. The bridge in the one photo (exterior) is a dead give away. Kevin spacey lives in the PH just next door, to name one. I have photo'd this block (Staple) time and time again, numerous movie shots have been done here. It is a must visit (real NY) block.

Even people in Tribeca do not know this exists...

Cool pad, nice family, fun place for kids..A man can only dream..

I'm sorry. I can't get past the life-threatening danger of the net with holes just big enough for some little kid to slip through and accidentally hang him/herself.
