By using materials that were "more engineered than styled", D'Urso was a trailblazer in his use of white paint, glass, rubber and steel. In 1978 D'Urso used a dry-cleaning rack in a client's closet:

How is the open clothing storage Minimalist? I would think a minimalist would want all that clutter hidden behind some clean doors.
