Building Up. This Sketchpad got lost in the shuffle last week. Since it is one of our favorite regular features from The New York Times we wanted to post it. In this edition, architect and interior designer Campion Platt reinvisions a carriage house in Clinton Hill...
In his theoretical design of the smaller carriage house (on the left), Mr. Platt adds three additional stories, a geothermal heating system and an intricate louvered system of solar panels or "brise-soleil". Be sure to check out the full audio slideshow for all the details.
