NYT Video: Green Industry

5-23-florvideo.jpg

Green Underfoot. The New York Times continues to improve their online videos. (We're especially fond of Minimalist Mark Bitman's contributions.) In Planet Us: Born Again Green, Interface founder Ray Anderson (yes, the parent company of FLOR) talks about his philosophies on sustainability and business and how his carpet business has grown as a result of sustainable practices. A must-see!

I just got back from a great weekend spent with my Interface flor commercial rep. We toured two of their mills along with the the pond design studio and their Platinum Leed showroom in Atlanta and came back to see this post! What an amazing company and one we should support! Fellow designers ask your reps to treat you to a weekend at their amazing vacation house Catawba and the unforgetable experience of meeting the people making this happen! They are truly inspiring!
