The beauty of Enamoo is the shop's mixture of vintage household items with uniquely-designed t-shirts and nice little arrangements of plants.
Our favorite here: their trademark antique cheese crates planted neatly with aloe-like vegetation. Old, wooden divided cheese crate boxes are lined and planted with structured little "hen-and-chick" plants all in a row. Enamoo has created one t-shirt with the small plant boxes printed on the front.
It's fun to rummage here and see what you come up with - the stylish selection of old finds here is imaginative and inspiring for the home. Recently spotted here: a large, hammered-copper watering can for about $60.

I love this store; the owner is also very, very nice.
What's a cheese crate box?
click my name to see an example of a cheese crate.
I also love this store: one of those perfect examples of a shop where the owner deals in just what she's interested in, and sees what happens. Love the tee shirt/antique/greenery combo. Yay for Enamoo!
Hm...I've always liked the aesthetic of the store, but I find that it's a bit overpriced, like most of the shops in that area. I've never seen an individual piece in there that I thought was worth it.
I love this store too. Who would think vintage furniture, plants, and a hip selection of t-shirts and baseball caps would = successful and fun store? Granted, the brooklyn tee and caps are becoming ubiquitous (and pricey) but I prefer them over the ones at Brooklyn Industries. The place is always hopping with people snapping them up.
Every time I visit this store, the owner remembers my son and if he's not with me, asks after him. It has a great feel to it, and I can't help but not mind paying a little extra for cool t's if it helps support independently owned businesses - with heart.
I love Enamoo. And, it's fun to say.
I wish there was more store owners with a the heart and creativity of enamoo. Their ever changing window displays are exemplary! Just look at that lovely sign.
