What we want to see now is Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life by Todd Oldham. It's a exhaustive collection of Harper's work lovingly compiled by Oldham. See more of Oldham on the work of Charley Harper in this video. Also printed in a limited edition, pictured above.
I got this book for Christmas, and it's wonderful. What a tribute. It's enormous though. I think I will need to get a bigger coffee table just to show it off!

At my local thrift store last month, a very cool graphic print of buzzards sitting on a power line caught my eye. It was priced at $40 but the owner gave it to me for $10 -- turned out to be a limited edition signed Charley Harper print. One of my favorite scores ever!

I'm an art appraiser from Kentucky. Harper's piece were huge here in the 1970s and 80s. About eight years ago I had an auctioneer tell me that Charley Harper's pieces would never "come back" and I watched as a lot of them went for about $40 at auction.
Then, last year TAG (the tabletop company) started reproducing his stuff on dishware. See this link...http://store.heliotropehome.com/chhabpl.html
and I knew something big was happening.
