apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

XS: Small Structures, Green Architecture

04.03.xs.jpgLittle and green. Check out this new book hot off the presses. It's XS: Small Structures, Green Architecture, Phylis Richardson's follow-up to XS: Big Ideas, Small Buildings. And this time it's green.

A piece of the synopsis: This book features contemporary solutions to two of today's most challenging problems-how to conserve space and help save the environment. The design goals of the 40 houses included here are to build as small as possible, to harmonize with the site, to use natural heating and cooling techniques, and, above all, to combine aesthetic beauty with ecological sensitivity.

We're excited about this book, as we loved the first one and this one now incorporates sustainability. It's like icing on the cake.
