A tableful of Lotta Jansdotter's modern tissue box covers
The Bklyn Designs Annex had tons of items for the home, some of which were smaller than that found in the rest of the show. We'd like to showcase a few of them here:
Lotta Jansdotter's tissue box covers are a delight. They're made of screen-printed fabric that wraps two common sizes of tissue box. The covers are fastened by velcro and a handy loop is sewn into the end of the cover, allowing you to hang the box if desired. We loved the bright, modern appearance of these covers.
Glide Inc. was showing off the Twist Together Lamp. It's made of modular blocks that twist together to connect and form a lamp of your own design. We loved the contrasting colors of each individual block and can't believe we got away from the show without a photo. This one's from Cool Hunting.
This table has a small footprint and a giant wood slab top
Valdez Studios Metalsmithing had a small pedestal on display that stopped us in our tracks. The bronze base was narrow and simple. The top on it was at least 2 1/2" thick and was smooth and soft in contrast to the precision of the bronze.
I'm a big fan of Lotta Jansdotter's work, her apartment is featured in the book Living Large in Small Spaces which I believe was discussed on the San Fran AT site.

I looked unsuccessfully for a tissue box cover when this House Tour was posted, so thanks for this tip!

I love the Jansdotter covers, but I just bought 6 boxes at Costco that are too big! Do you think these would work if I took the tissues out of the box? Or does anyone know where I might find the one seen in the House Tour? Etsy only seemed to have covers for travel-size tissues.
