Nicholas Furrow Design creates lighting that starts with found objects, like the Strainer lamp made of nested strainers and standard coat hooks. The lamp casts a fine mesh of light. Another ready-made-type piece is the Honey Jar, a glass jar shade encapsulated in wax (below)...

I love the strainer lamp (I'm already trying to figure out how to make something like it myself), but I don't think the photo of the Honey Jar made it into the post, unless it's the thing that looks like an onion?
