Green Village is a secret source for many antiques dealers, interior designers, and, yes, vendors from the 26th Street market, says New York magazine, where Green Village was named the best junk shop in 2001. The shop is huge (10,000 sf huge) and full of finds if you're willing to dig. We always thought digging was part of the fun ourselves...

And while it is green to shop salvage, we don't think the shop is named for its "green"-ness. Green Village was around with that name long before green became so cool.
