Shopping at Apartment 48 is like visiting the home of a good friend.
The small shop is broken up into rooms and is furnished as if it is lived in. Kitchen goods in the kitchen, bedroom furnishings in the bedroom, etc. You get the picture. Everything inside is for sale.
The selection of goods is varied and thoughtful and you could literally buy for any room of your house here.
Your first tendency is to turn to the person who lives here and say, "where did you get that?". Then you remember you're in a shop and ask, "can I get that in green?". It's great fun and a comfortable (though crowded) place to shop.

It's a cool shop, kind of easy to miss though on 17th street (there ain't much else there). If I remember right, they have very nice towels and linens.
