Old time service still exists in Gotham. George's answering machine says, "Whether or not you want your windows clean...leave a message." Straight ahead with no beating around the bush, George is a true gentleman who does excellent work at a reasonable price. He has been recommended by two readers, who both don't want him to become too busy. Each window is about $8, with storm windows counting as an extra window. MGR

Last time AT mentioned George, I called him and left two messages. He never called me back; perhaps he somehow intuited that my windows hadn't been washed since I moved into the joint.

Sarah - I had the same experience. I left a message for George 3 weeks ago after finding his number in the AT archives and he never returned my call.

he just worked magic on our windows! we have very hard to clean windows and he did a GREAT job! apparently we have a view!
