Get greenclean in NYC. There are many cleaning companies in town, all with different rates and cultures, but few offer both cleaning, handyman AND painting services with a "green" slant.
Spotless Services does it all.

Just had a handyman job done by Spotless Services. I read a review on Service Magic and they were everthing great the other people said about them. They painted a room and did some minor repairs in my apartment. They were extremely nice and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.
Founded by a former president of Imacuclean, Spotless gets a high rating on ServiceMagic , they are untested by us, and we could use more real real people reviews here.
I recently booked an appointment with Spotless Services, confirmed the day before, and still they never showed up or called to explain why. (The exact same thing happened to me with Imacuclean, so that connection explains a lot!) Spotless Services told me it would cost $225 to hang four Ikea LACK shelves in my apartment, to give you an idea of their rates (they told me that they had an hourly rate of $75 and a time minimum of three hours). I was willing to pay it, though it seemed exorbitant, but I turned out not to have the chance. Maybe my experience was unusual, but I would definitely steer clear of these folks. (Btw, I ended up finding someone on Craig's list who did the job beautifully for $100.)
