A few weeks ago now, but this cherry tree burst into bloom over the course of the weekend and was completely done two weeks later.
The colors, lushness and abundance of cherry trees blooming is one our favorite parts of the spring. The colors are actually quite circumscribed, with a silver grey trunk and soft green leaf set against narrow range of pink that quickly starts to turn white and then brown on the ground.
