Stylebook: The California Collection

Dept. of State. On our trip to California last month we saw many amazing things. The following slideshow is a notebook of color, shape and style both natural and created. We were lucky enough to not only poke around LA, we spent an afternoon at the Getty Museum (buildings by Meier and gardens by Irwin) and got out on the highway up to the Sierras (which will become a slideshow of its own at some point).

Although this is a long show (turn on some trance music and make a drink), we hope that it is somewhat inspiring and gets you to go buy a digital camera, takes pics and send them to us. MGR

When I come home from vacation with pictures like these, nobody wants to look at them because "they don't have any people in them."

These are awesome!! As a ny-er who actually thinks California is cooler, these photos make me happy.

Can I ask, what type of camera did you use to shoot these? I'm in the market for a new digital camera.
