One of my favorite things recently has been variations of the primary color triad, for example here: the teal blue lamp shade, scarlet table cloth and yellow wall. We nixed several yellows as too flabby, too orange, too too, before arriving at this—Beach Yellow. It’s got a dirty quality I find fascinating, almost like it’s green until it’s completely dry. In my humble opinion, if the wall were any warmer it would have been too rich. Neat. Textile by Marimekko.

Such a lovely burst of color. Makes me smile on this cold winter day. May I ask where the table is from? The wood cross beams are great!

Love it! I think yellows are the hardest to use successfully as wall color so that makes this even more of a win.
This exact shade was a strong contender for my guest bath for a while.

Designermomma -- seems to me the lamp shade is IKEA Kivsta and the base is IKEA Grundton or Januari
