At last! Ive been wanting to write about a brown wall with a greenish tint to it for ages, just like the one my acupuncturist has. After years of thinking about it, I finally snapped a picture after my last appointment...
Readers of this column will know I adore browns and prefer the warmer tones. But this accent wall looks so gorgeous, who am I to quibble? It has a woodsy Zen feeling to it, earthy and natural. I think if it was any redder, it would come at you too much, and a healing center requires a certain neutrality.
Ive always thought that my acupuncturist has exceptional taste, without being flashy. Though this color might not have been my first choice, I think it looks great in this environment.

I love restoration hardware's chocolate brown paint. I have used it for my space and think it is great with all of my natural color furniture.
If you like to see, I can send anyone pics.

Looks gorgeous in your photos Mark; without you pointing it out, I would not have given it much thought just from the Ralph Lauren website.

Really love this wall color but I felt a little queasy when I first saw the "artwork" on the wall in this photo because I thought it was another finalist in the AT color contest! Quite relieved to discover that this is actually a picture of your acupuncturist's office.
