Just a nice fit. Spotted at the Container Store last winter, what we thought was a gimmicky kitchenware line is gaining converts. Nigella says, "I just love this curving, slightly bulging egg-shaped form. These are fabulous for mixing in ...and gorgeously comforting to cradle." We agree. For around $68 you get 4 beautifully shaped, durable mixing bowls that are easy to clean, use and store (comes in white or blue). They are a bit heavy, but since we break everything, we don't mind if that means they last longer. MGR

her doorknob cheese grater (http://www.nigella.com/kitchen_product_page16.htm) is the best thing in the line. it's available at caban in canada, for anyone interested.
The (cream-colored) bowls are available via the Conran's website:

More of the line is also available in NYC at The Terence Conran Shop.
These are incredibly beautiful and practical - except that the glaze picks up any metal that touches it. Whisking in one of these will leave an ugly grey stain, and a washing them in a stainless steel sink can leave marks on the outside if you're not very careful. So lovely, but so high-maintenance.
