We haven't even used this yet, and we want to elect it to the kettle hall of fame. Seen by SKGR in the MoMA store window this afternoon, it is just like the Chinese ones we love, super simple, but with a clean modern beauty. We're not sure if it whistles, but the top does come off for easy cleaning. For reference, Sori Yanagi also designed the lovely butterfly stool. Available at the infamous MoMA store for $98.

Very nice, but what is the difference between this and the Chinese ones you love? Just curious.
really nice...i think it's going to be this one or the zen kettle in white from le creuset for my new apartment. thanks for the tip!
Janice: The Chinese ones (almost similar looking, has fuller, more generous look) sell for, oh, about the equivalent of US$5 instead of US$98 here in Malaysia..? heh.
