Definitely not modern. The worn and aged appearance of most products at Sundance could really add a rustic warmth to your kitchen, bedroom, or dining room. The store also carries apparel and personal accessories but we're looking at their furniture and home decor.
What caught our eye in particular were a couple of beauties for Bedroom Month: the canopied Grand Tour Bed and the Sari Quilt (pieced together from vintage saris). Plus we really liked the Meridian Pendant Lamp with the tungsten bulb.

I've bought a quilt and linen duvet from the outlet - the markdowns there are good.
I like the furniture better at Vivaterra - the aesthetic is similar.
Sundance is one of my very favorite catalogs ... I always want everything in it (or at least, I want to go live in the pictures)! But alas, not much of it fits within the already established aesthetic of my small NYC one-bedroom apartment.
Lest anyone think otherwise, J. Peterman has been around for 20 years and is not a mere side-character of the Seinfeld show. Well, it was started a few years before Seinfeld...which has also now been around for years - to my chagrin...hate that show.
these guys also make what appear to be eye catchy iron beds. Anyone used them???

Thats some nice stuff there Joe and price is right for beds like that with special castings
This comment is for Jane.
I am also a huge fan of the Sundance Catalog and merchandise. I collected and saved every single one of their catalogs and jewelry catalog since it started many years ago.
But my collection was recently stolen and I am so heartbroken!!! The catalogs were so beautiful and inspirational to me and it made me so happy to look at the beautiful things.
The only catalogs I have left are from 2006 and 2007. Do you have any of the previous years catalogs or know someone who does? I am willing to buy them. (I have tried sundance catalog.com, ebay, craigslist and some blogs/forums so far.)
