This wonderful "Looking Glass Studio" comes courtesy of Jes Anthonis of Mosey Handmade. The house was made almost entirely of salvaged windows and glass doors. The roof is corrugated tin and fiberglass from an old chicken coop, and the slate and cobblestone floors were sourced from a local quarry and salvaged from a downtown Portland street that was torn up...

Love the idea in general, but this house looks kind of spooky, kind of haunted.

Having grown up in Appalachia, this looks like the kind of thing I saw every day. While I admire the cleverness of people who make do, this speaks of poverty to me and makes me a little sad.

Love the idea - It might look more cohesive (i.e. deliberately funky) by painting the available spaces between the windows a bright color.
