That photo looks a lot like Cheryl Tiegs? And I believe she's 60 or 61 years old? However, although she claims never having surgery... That's one, not so bad, 60 something year old gal!

I wouldn't tell either.

Yes, that is Cheryl Tiegs.

P.S A kind of unexpected post from AT, but very informative and interesting. Thanks.

This reads like a "write the history of your illness" assignment at an eating disorder treatment center. It is sad to me that this woman has spent her whole life wanting to look like someone else! Imagine how much cooler it would have been for her to chronicle the loves of her life, or the hobbies of her life, or music of her life, or (since we're on A-T), the apartments of her life... I hope as she (& all of us who worry about our looks ) gets older, she can focus outside her appearance and appreciate her healthy body for all the wonderful things it does.

From the first linked post: "Then I saw Jamie Lee Curtis in Perfect and thin was no longer good enough; I wanted to be perfect. Enter the Spandex, rice cakes and aerobicizing. I seem to remember Jamie Lee saying that she was battling a raging eating disorder at this point. Funny, so was I."

Great, I was really looking for some "thinspiration" from a fellow Ana! Thanks AT!

Come on guys, if I wanted to hate my body, I'd read Cosmo.

What the four previous commenters said. Just... what the hell, AT?

How is promoting sexist, women-hating sites related to helping people make their homes calm, organized and beautiful? I find this very, very baffling, and hope this is the last post of this kind I see on AT.

I know it is your brother, Maxwell, but why is this a regular feature on this site? Especially with "features" like these ones...?

I too find it odd to see such a feature. Not what I come to see here on AT and hope that this is the last.

With judgy mcjudgerson "friends" like Gwyneth, who needs their own self-loathing? I'm sure Mario never noticed he was fat until Gwyneth helpfully pointed it out. Because, you know, fat people are dumb and don't have mirrors and don't eleventy-hundred anti-fat messages a day from the media.

Honestly, every time I go to that website I get irritated by its woman-hating, body-hating, smug LA-style pro-ana point of view. I'm not going back, ever.

I agree with the comments above - I do not expect to see photos - much less stories - like this one on AT. It seems to me that the AT philosophy is about streamlining your possessions and your mental clutter, keeping only those things that are healthy and add something to your life. I make decisions every day about what kind if media _not_ to look at so that I minimize exposure to the bombardment of misogynist and sizeist stories such as the ones above...not something I expect from AT, and something that would definitely keep me from coming back if repeated often.

Tracey Anderson is becoming the new Rachel Zoe celebrity entourage member being forced on us with pseudo-celebrity status. Annoying and EVERYWHERE lately!

But I still miss the Rachel Zoe show...it was bananas.

Re: this column. Where's the Tony Little love? A ponytail, psychotic energy and a Gazelle; it doesn't get much better than that!
