Inspiration: Upcycled Plant Markers

1_plantmarker_rect540.jpgEvery year we have the same gardening dilemma: to keep or not to keep plant markers? We really dislike those plastic things because they uglify otherwise lovely gardens. However, we will, without a doubt, forget what was planted if the markers aren’t used. That's why we really love these upcycled planters found on Etsy...

How do you forget what you've planted? If you are taking care of it daily, I would think that would be a cinch. I am staring at my flower bed now from the back porch - there are the hollyhocks, the lobelia, snapdragons, salvias, foxgloves, delphiniums, ratibida, morning glories, false indigo, verbascum getting swallowed by mass of ratibida, cat nip, artichoke, sorrel, etc. Wait I did forget, what is that little cucumber flavored herb there? Ok, maybe plant markers are good for something after all! :)
