Small Eco-Friendly Guesthouse in Wyoming
Metropolitan Home July/August 2009

ny-cross-6-23.jpgThis 1,100-square-foot eco-savvy guesthouse is located right outside Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Tall ceilings, a ton of natural light, space-saving designs, and access to the great outdoors make it feel much bigger than its size would suggest...

In the Met Home world, I guess it's an accomplishment for a couple to manage for a weekend in only 1,100 square feet, plus sleeping loft. Why, where's the wine cellar and home theater? Or the 3,000 square foot open kitchen with a $20,000 stove? It's really green of them to do without for a day or two at their second home.

Oh, wait. That's only the guest house. Not to worry. All the amenities are just across the lawn. Whew.

Is this really Met Home's idea of eco-savvy?

It's bigger and nicer than my MAIN home.
