>> Aero Linen Wrapped Pendant? - I don't know what Thomas O'Brien really calls this pendant, but I saw it yesterday in his store and loved it. A light steel frame, wrapped in linen and hung with a boat rope, it's practically steampunk. It's pricey though and I was quoted in the $1200 range.

>> Porcelain Bell Hanging Lamps - These cutie pies I found in the window of Calypso Home. Made by Roost in thin porcelain, each one is a comes with a long white fabric cord and looks best with these Edison bulbs. They run $100-190 each.

>> Industry Pendant Lamp - This is very similar to the much more expensive design seen below, and it's a great alternative. A huge light with an aluminum shade and a black powdercoat finish, it also has a glass diffuser so that the light is evenly distributed and you don't see the bulb. This goes for $200.

>> Caravaggio Pendant Lamps - I have always had a sweet spot for these guys. Designed by Cecilie Manz, they come really big and also in medium and small. Their colors range from black to white to translucent opal, and they are even more distinctive for their braided black, white or red cord that reaches up to the ceiling. These go for $200-900.
