Produced by Baleri Italia, the original LittleBig features a molded plywood seat cantilevered on an aluminum base. The back portion of the base creates the illusion of a more formal, high-backed dining chair in addition to acting as a handle or place to hang a jacket...

LittleBig Backless is the first in a series of spin-offs of the original design. Jeff Miller has kept the basic form of a modern, cantilevered chair, but made it less formal than the original (and most likely, less expensive). The idea of a handle remains, though it is no longer part of the base of the chair...

Is it just me or does this chair like it was designed for people who straddle chairs backwards for a "ride" whild sitting?
