Red-Painted Thonet Chairs

Check out this table full of red-painted Thonet chairs. We love their punch in an otherwise fairly muted room. And all those legs make this dinner table look almost like it could get up and walk away...

We spotted the picture on Rate My Room at My Deco, which we've been hooked on all afternoon. We love the Thonet chair and bounce back and forth between preferring it in natural wood, black, or brightly painted colors. Today, this photo has us leaning toward brightly painted colors.

I have red dining chairs, too! love 'em. So glad I went with something bold in an otherwise neutral space. It's awesome.

I like the red chairs---big family or lots of friends.

But that tree seems really out of place do to the overall size of it. Who cares what color the chairs are really! I keep waiting for the tree to fall:-)
