2-26-two-jakes-logo.jpg It's been nearly four years since we posted Williamsburg's Two Jakes. Two Jakes has a large inventory of used office furniture (much of it is suitable for home use). Vintage pieces like Saarinen chairs and Steelcase desks crowd the interior space and leave just enough room for Two Jakes' new furniture from manufacturers like Blu Dot, Emeco, and Bisley...

Two Jakes is a great resource for desks, tables and chairs of the industrial cast and definitely a place you want to check out when you are on a furniture hunt for this style. The prices on vintage pieces are very reasonable. This is a great place to pick up used Metro-shelving or a used filing cabinet. Both are available in various sizes and shapes.

In addition to Blu Dot, Emeco, and Bisley, Two Jakes sells new furniture from Cherner, and Offi .

hip hip for two-jakes! The owners are so sweet! I am a frequent shopper at mini-jakes (their kid's store)...

I found their prices very reasonable. An armless Saarinen chair for under $200 is fair.

Agreed on the Saarinen, but $250 for a non-designer armless chair I had my eye on simply can't work for me, unfortunately.

They have great prices and the staff is really wonderful. I've bought all sorts of stuff there and they have been nothing but helpful and willing to work with me.

Check them out.
ps- the prices are better there then on the website.

I bought my couch here and absolutely love it. The prices are totally fair (much more so than other vintage stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn) and the staff is great.

wouldn't the steel chair legs scratch the surfaces of those wood finished tables???
