Glass Pedestal Candy Jars

12.18.candy_pedestal.jpg

We love the look of old apothecary jars in the home. So, for holiday entertaining, we couldn't like anything better than these Glass Pedestal Candy Jars for serving up homemade treats...

The lidded jars come in 5 sizes. But we have to point out that if you buy all five at once, you get the look pictured up top, they cost you $25 less, and shipping is free at Chef's Catalog. Sweet.

Me, too ... but I can just imagine them all (except the lowest one) tipping over and crashing into bits as soon as someone takes the lid off and reaches in for a treat!

There are similar mini cake stands at Fishs Eddy.

I'm kind of eh about the glass things, but those candy items are calling out my name.

If you took the lids off, they would also make very pretty vases.

Beautiful, but they do look a bit fragile.
