John and his team installed our custom living room media/bookshelf wall unit this weekend. The final product has completely exceeded our expectations! We met with several carpenters, most of whom would not even take on a job as small as ours. Those who were interested in working with us, immediately began to overdesign and overprice the job. John is the only one who totally saw our vision and gave us a reasonable estimate which he stuck to through the end. We have already begun discussions on two more built-in projects and may even have him redo kitchen cabinet work done by an awful, horrible contractor whose work is slowly falling apart. We highly recommend you give him a call for all your custom carpentry needs.

Seems like a nice guy but absolutely a total disappointment. Tough to get him to meet unless it was to pick up a check. Limited communication when there should have been a dialogue; no attention to detail in the planning or installation; didn't account properly for issues like floors or walls that aren't perfectly even; left all the scrap at my place to clean up. So many lies and stalling -- it took 2 months from the start of the install for him to come back and (kind of) finish. I would strongly discourage you from using John Seetin/C10 design. Sloppiness abounds.

C-10 Design designed and installed a custom media center for my home that was amazing. It was done in walnut with classic details on the cabinets and shelves. He unlike other designers I've worked with listened to my ideas and translated them into a design that exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. John Seetin the owner of C-10 Design is a perfectionist that was a pleasure to do business with. I get compliments on his work all the time. I'd highly recommend him.

This young man impressed me and my staff with his skill level (Parsons Grad is no small thing), his attention to detail and his constant line of communication. As a new interior designer in New York having opened my firm in 2007 I had no clue how to find a wood craftsman to build my custom furniture. John executed my design to the exact measurements of my design. He even helped me workout some logistics in the design to make the install a breeze.
