Our favorite Critical Shopper, Mike Albo, visits the Brooklyn Flea for his most recent column in The New York Times. While we are no strangers to The Flea — both in its seasonal home in Fort Greene and its winter space in DUMBO — we're fond of Albo's sense of humor and take on shopping: "The market almost seems like Dumbo’s apologetic gesture for its luxury binge. The artists and scrappier merchants who were driven out of their lofts now come back here to sell their wares."
