Awesome furniture store comes to party, but stands by door. I am sorry, I love Terence Conran's style and his shop, but east 59th street is so out of the way, Brooklyn looks better. Nevertheless, a fan has already written in. Offering "uber modern, uber chic, don't touch - only admire from afar," reporter MM starts off, but concludes with, "Visiting this store inspires greed - you just want everything in it!" Conran has continued to set the bar high with his innovative design sense and European love of texture and warmth. An ultimate design store, you can furnish your entire house, and also find presents for friends.
Every room is represented: kitchen through outdoors, and designs not seen in New York abound. Couches starting at @ $2,500 and side chairs starting at @ $250 mean Conran's is midpriced to high, but the craftsmanship tells you its worth it.
