Due to a question from our reader (posted today) we went to check JC out and were impressed by the odd, English, cozy and luxurious look of this furniture line. JC calls his line "transitional," meaning somewhere between modern and traditional - not quite in any niche that you might want to put him in. He does lovely work with mirrored furniture and his complete line consists of tables, chairs, sofas, beds, lighting, accesssories and storage.
JC is high end, typically only selling to the trade, but some pieces are sold at Mecox Garden (962 Lexington Ave - 212.249.5301) as well as at Hinson & Co. at the D&D Building (979 Lexington Ave. - 212.688.5538).
Nice stuff. So Noel Coward. But in a "successful Broadway revival" kind of way.
I have got some furniture, looks beautiful & made wonderfully. Adorable staff & showroom.
