Staples for your kitchen. Fishs Eddy has been around awhile, and it is certainly no secret that they are one of the best places to go for everyday dishes, flatware and glasses. They specialize in retro, vintage hotelware in old and new designs, with American made, double-fired, commercial grade sturdyware being their hallmark. While we don't particluarly like the designy stuff by Nicole Miller and Cynthia Rowley, it is popular. We prefer the plain white dishes and the simple glasses (favorite: Wavy sided diner juice glass).
Prices are good but not cheap, as their heaping displays seem to indicate. Their Everyday Whiteware will run you $6.95 per plate and $6.95 per cereal bowl. Glasses start at @ $1.50 and go up from there. Go to the store, as the website doesn't show everything. MGR

The best thng about Fishs Eddy is that their stuff is actually made in the USA. Novel idea.
I have loved Fishs Eddy since they opened. Even if I don't need anything, it's a hoot to go in and look around.
New store coming montague st in brooklyn soon.
I've shopped at Fishs Eddy for the last 10 years, for mostly glassware. Last year I bought the Green Market pattern, a few pieces at a time. I need 2 more dinner plates to complete my set, but they tell me it has been discontinued! Does anyone know of an overstock company that may sell it? (Overstock.com does not).
try replacements.com.
I stumbled across this treasure in Staten Island on Bay Street unaware of its treats. Now I am grieving to the new of them closing the outlet in January. By Eddy you will be missed.
I AM INTERESTED IN CYNTHIA ROWLEY'S PEOPLE DISHES. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO BECOME AVAILABLE AGAIN IN MARCH. ARE THEY? HOW CAN I ORDER SOME???
I have a complete set of Cynthia Rowley's people dishes (4) that are slightly used. I had them in my cabinets for two years and maybe used them once every three months. In Dallas. Post again if you are interested
Fishes Eddy closed it's uptown store and is now at Gracious Home on west 67th and Broadway, and it's east side store too. They have a good display.
