John Derian's shop has been modestly tucked away on 2nd Street for many years, but when people stumble upon it, they are usually surprised and intoxicated by what a lovely little world is being continually created within. Charmed by the ambiance, the word "love" is easily used by customers. Lorraine says she "was ready to sit down and order a pre dinner martini."
John Derian is a home store that specializes in Derian's own decoupage glassware as well as numerous antiques and textiles that Derian finds on his worldwide jaunts. There are vintage and new linens by Elsa B, Lisa Corti and John Robshaw. There are Moroccan poufs and Turkish glass ornaments. This is a place to get lost in.
NY Mag calls it an extremely charming home-dcor and knickknack shop

this place makes me SWOON
some of John Derian's work is sold at Cog and Pearl in Park Slope - I wonder if he makes a Commercial line or something different from the mothership goods
not having to put in a number to vote makes me pretty durn happy, too
Didn't I see him on a segment of Elle Decor Design Awards on HGTV a few weeks ago?
Dear John,
I'm from Hong Kong and I'm a lover of the sea. The moment I saw your great stuff in Lane Crawford, I bought 15 pieces of your artwork all in the theme of seashells and fish! Sadly, I missed the biggest one "Fan Coral". I surf thru your website & was even amazed by your great collection. Can I purchase online & send to Hong Kong? I am ready to buy about 10 more pieces! Please let me know asap! Thank you very much!
Warm regards.
Willie Tan from Hong Kong
Willie, please call the store and they will be more than happy to take care of you.

Do you sell the ceramic bird tiles in the NY store? I saw in a magazine for $46. Thanks
I love John Derian! Whenever I need a gift for that hard to find, someone who has everything ...John Derian is the way to go!
