Today I thought I would just lead you right to Emma and extol her virtues. We've all linked to Emma's blog a ton over the past few years, and it's now time to just tell everyone to go over and appreciate what an amazing eye Emma has. Her site holds a wealth of highly edited, interior design ideas...
Emma lives in Stockholm, calls her blog, "Emma's Designblogg," and subtitles it "design and style from a Scandinavian perspective." It's mainly a collection of the nicest pictures around (culled from the web) with very little writing, and it's not all entirely Scandinavian, but - as she says - from her perspective.

It's hard to say what ties all her choices together, other than they are modern, beautiful, very lived in and romantic in a down to earth kind of way. She also likes the old, worn and antique. You won't find too much polished steel, slick surfaces and hard edges here. Her sensibility is able to balance old and new, soft and hard, light and dark, and I love that.
Above all else there is a simplicity to what she chooses that make me feel relaxed and calm. I urge you to take a look at these pics and simply click through, feast on the good ideas and enjoy. Thank you Emma and keep up the good work!

I can't seem to add this to my Google Reader. I don't find a link on the site that allows me to add it to Google Reader and I'm not having any luck looking up the blog to add it directly in my Google Reader. Anyone?
