Thanks to Hable Construction, you can do a little armchair Christmas decorating from anywhere. Just go to their Design Your Mantle page and get started...

12.17.hable_construction3.jpg The site lets you choose stockings to "hang" on the mantle until you've found the right one. Then, you can purchase your selected felted wool design online or stop in at the Hable Construction shop at 117 Perry Street in the West Village.

I love Hable's stockings (and their clever website), but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a stocking! I'm saving up for something I'll use/see for more than two weeks out of the year. If they go on sale after the holidays, however, I'll be the first in line to buy them!
