apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

AT Europe: London - Zara Home Store

A reliable, cost-conscious address offering designer knock-offs for the fickle and short of cash, Zara Home is a great source for fulfilling interior decorating trends without breaking the piggy bank. ..

Cheap but chic accessories like a metallic silver leather fringe pillow or a crocheted hanging lantern spotted at a London store off Kings Road recently could make a big impact or a seasonal change without a huge financial commitment. For those outside of Europe, Mexico and the Middle East, check out their beautifully styled catalogue for ideas.

That catalogue photography rocks. It is some of the best art direction I've seen in a long time.

No, hrh, but the catalogue--or so they call it--defies my efforts to see prices, and/or to buy anything. What a hideous tease!

Oh well, by time I got done, the shipping would probably cost more than a simple ticket to London. . . .

They do not have any furniture, only home accessories:glassware, linen, pillows, baby clothing and accessories and toys. I have some things from them and must say that they are a bit better than IKEA at design and quality, but the prices are also a bit higher. The overall style is dictated by current trends, with ethnic being dominant in pillows and throws etc. They have also candles.
I got an apron for them (sommelier style), sheets (in lovely lime green, they have amazing colors) and two runners for my dinner table, one in a lovely green that matches one of my IKEA throws and the other in bamboo - their runners have great prices. And you cannot beat their prices when they have sales, but you have to be extra fast to get what yo uwant then. I have my eye on their bathrobes, they are velvety and fluffy.

I expect that pillow to shimmy and belt out "Proud Mary" at any moment...

What I saw looked great, but had a devil of a time trying to turn the online catalogue pages -they were flopping and sticking all over the place, worse than when I put up my Wonderful Graffitti wall stickers a couple of months ago.

Hello to everybody!

As a Spanish guy I must say that Zara Home is the most stylish brand in the world for home decoration. Besides, It's affordable to all budgets and it's Spanish!!
For those who dont know it, you can buy all the items at their website www.zarahome.com
Notice that the website and all the stuff absolutely changes twice a year. (March & September).

Has anyone realized I love Zarahome :-p

(Sorry about my mistakes)
& Happy new year to everyone!
